Commissioned and unveiled as part of my role as Artist in Residence for Rainbow Rave, "BLOOM/BLOOM 2.0" embodies the dynamic evolution of self-reflection. Delving deeper into the realms of 3D artistry, this large-scale sculpture fuses the tangible rawness of mixed media with the ethereal glow of UV light paint. Mirrors are strategically positioned, catching every nuance of ambient light, while plaster cast faces peer out, reminiscent of timeless introspection. Together, these elements challenge the viewer, prompting a journey inward. Each reflective surface and shadowed contour becomes a testament to personal growth and the transformative power of self-awareness. "BLOOM/BLOOM 2.0" isn't merely a sculpture; it's a reflection of the continuous dance between inner and outer worlds, between the individual and the collective spirit of the LGBTQ+A community celebrated by Rainbow Rave .
