"Light EYEZ", commissioned for Rainbow Rave, is more than a visual installation; it's a testament to the transformative power of collaborative artistry and inclusivity. Born from a creative partnership with Wizard Wares, a renowned local textile artist, this piece encompasses 30 radiant light orbs of varied dimensions, with a grand orb reigning supreme at its heart. Beyond its beauty, "Bloom" serves as a sanctuary—a space distinct from the music's rhythmic pulse, inviting showgoers to pause, reflect, and immerse themselves in a luminous reverie. Such was the impact and resonance of this installation that it became the catalyst for my esteemed position as a permanent artist in residence for Rainbow Rave NC, further intertwining my artistic journey with this vibrant LGBTQ+A collective.
